We want to create a world where people are valued and treated equally.

What We Do

Lencho .org provides direct services to people who are blind or visually impaired. We facilitate resources to structure rehabilitation centers dedicated to serving the blind in cities and in rural communities. Volunteer professionals in the field of blind services work directly with local teachers and participants to maximize their ability to travel and live independently, and fulfill their goals for a better quality of life.

How We do it

    •    Create professionals in the field of  Blind services through education and training of local teachers and staff.

    •    Provide resources to modernize and establish a curriculum at centers which provide direct services to participants.

    •    Work with local partners to foster advocacy and encourage participation in local community decisions.

    •    Educate families and friends to remove the stigma of blindness and champion a well-adjusted generation of individuals.

    •    Fund local teachers to participate in training exchange programs.

    •    Partner with allies to provide health related services.
